That said, you’ll be hard pressed to find a battery-powered blender with that much power, so just know that if you opt for the convenience, you’ll likely have to pre-cut your ingredients before loading them in. Generally speaking, the higher the watts, the better, but most blenders with 300 to 500 watts of power should be able to crush ice and make blended smoothies. One important spec to pay attention to when purchasing a blender is the motor’s power, which is measured in watts. ![]() Both styles of blenders usually come with helpful accessories like a travel bottle or jar that can often be used for both blending and drinking a smoothie, so be on the lookout for those. Bullet-style blenders aren’t quite as compact - though they’re still much smaller than standard blenders - and need to be plugged into an outlet, but they’re typically more powerful and better able to handle frozen fruit or ice. True portable blenders are powered by batteries that can be charged via USB cable, so you can make smoothies literally anywhere. Portable blenders tend to fall under two categories, and choosing between them will depend on your needs. No idea what is causing the intermittent charge or discharge behavior. ![]() Same action as with the other charging stand - removed the Samsung cable from teh charging stand and plugged directly to the phone. ![]() I noticed I did NOT get the "charging" notification, so I watched closely and saw the Battery drop about 1 % per minute while on the charging stand. On a different Spigen charging stand (same model) I placed the phone to charge while doing computer work. Went back to charging directly from the cable. After a few days, though, it would again go into discharge, with phone (Note5) turned off and 0% battery in the morning. After a couple days, I plugged the cable back into the Spigen charging stand and wireless charging worked as it should. This happened intermittently - I finally just pulled the cord and connected it directly to the phone. Then I noticed that the LED at the bottom of hte charger would start alternating BLUE/RED/BLUE/RED and the phone would DISCHARGE overnight. This configuration worked like a champ for a long time (~9 months). I have Spigen changing stand with Samsung fast charge cables connected.
